in truth, this is so quick (or maybe my eyes are too slow?), that I can't make a judgement; in purely objective terms, a little bit of blur helps sell this, and I wouldn't get too hung up on any perceived clash of styles, if, simply put, it 'works'. As useless feedback goes, this is going to be hard to beat, but you'll have to try and see, and if it does jar somehow, then change it.
